May 28th, 2024.(specificity 8:43pm Central US. Yeah, I have OCD tendencies) I’m ignoring all other comments, so I have no sway on my opinion. -Anyways. The age of Dubstep died in 2014-2016. Sure, you can find artists still doing this and make bangers. But the trend is dead. EDM has taken over. I absolutely hate that trash genre. Only way to enjoy it is at an actual rave while on drugs. Too soft. Probably the same reason I strongly dislike Metalcore or anything close to it. Deathmetal. If there’s singing. I won’t listen to your band. I’m picky, but I know what I like. Haven’t kept up with many bands I used to listen to. Specially since so many bands are replacing their vocalist while changes the style and no longer deathmetal. Once singing is added, nope. Done. Attila was a shot in the guts and I lost all respect for that band.(I’m aware of the drama). All that said.. I f>ckin miss Big chocolate and similar artists mixing their filthy sounds to popular deathmetal bands. Shame Mitch killed himself. He’d have an interesting career and music if he wasn’t so dumb. I want this type of music back. I haven’t even listened to dubstep since 2015 because everything being released was crap or artists were changing their style to something “lighter”. Yeah, I’m angry about it all. I want my teenage years music back. So hard to find good sh!t nowadays. Find myself listening to songs I’ve already heard over a thousand times. Also, cover is a f<ckin banger.

RIP Alan Letko AKA Claw, one of the HULK duo and a really nice young guy who I had the pleasure of meeting once after a show. He made a point to come down and greet all of the disabled fans, on our crutches and in our wheelchairs. He was a very sweet guy and died too young. and RIP Mitch Lucker, lead singer of Suicide Silence, another talented and seemingly pleasant young guy who died far too young. I never had the chance to meet him but the shows were always great. One awesome remix, two groups, two tragic deaths. I’ll always think of them both when I hear this.
